The Pro-Ject Tubebox II Valve MM/MC Phono Preamp is a more compact version of the original Pro-Ject Tubebox. It is a dual mono design which utilises a pair of ECC83 double triodes for that smooth valve amp. It is switchable for use with either Moving Magnet or Moving Coil and has a switchable subsonic filter. Unlike its bigger brother it doesn't have variable loading, but loading is optimised to cover the majority of common cartridges.
Build quality is extremely good - the Pro-Ject Tubebox II is finished with a brushed aluminium fascia, in a tough, compact case. The tubes are protected by chromed metal cages.

Please note: Phono preamps require an interconnect lead to connect the phono preamp to your amplifier or sound system. This model does not come with such a lead as standard. We will provide a FREE basic interconnect in order that this product will work out of the box, however a cheap interconnect like this will compromise sound quality and we recommend that you purchase a good quality interconnect.
