The Pro-Ject Tubebox SE II MM/MC Valve Phono Preamp is Pro-Ject's premium phono preamplfier and utilises a pair of ECC83 double triodes is the design for that smooth valve amp sound.
Selectable impedance loading for Moving Coil Cartridges and selectable load resistance for MM cartridges means you can optimise performance for particular cartridges and a larger power supply and better quality components bring audible improvements for all types of cartridge. The Tubebox also has the useful additional feature of a 18Hz subsonic filter, to help in situations where arm and cartridge matching or feedback are less than optimal, but the ideal solution is impractical.
Build quality is extremely good - the Pro-Ject Tubebox SE II is finished with an attractive brushed aluminium fascia

Please note: Phono preamps require an interconnect lead to connect the phono preamp to your amplifier or sound system. This model does not come with such a lead as standard. We will provide a FREE basic interconnect in order that this product will work out of the box, however a cheap interconnect like this will compromise sound quality and we recommend that you purchase a good quality interconnect. See our Interconnects Section for options or see below.
