Description
The Pro-Ject RPM9.1 and RPM9.1X turntables are statement products from Pro-Ject. A deep and heavy acrylic platter on a very high quality inverted bearing, with a top specification carbon fibre tonearm, piano gloss dark grey or clear acrylic plinth and a motor unit which is housed seperately from the plinth. A very special turntable indeed. The non acrylic version also features a heavily mass dmaped bearing ring for additional resonance control.
Build quality is to the usual very high Pro-Ject standard . Every part of the Pro-Ject RPM9.1/RPM9.1X is designed to maximise sound quality by minimising resonances and provding the best interface between your vinyl and turntable to enable the cartridge to do its job. The RPM9.1/RPM9.1X is perfectly capable of handling some very high end cartrudges indeed, and would sit very comfortably in any high end system.

Unlike many Pro-Ject turntables the Pro-Ject RPM9.1/RPM9.1X comes without a cartridge prefitted. But to make life easier we have put together some cartridge options below to help you choose a suitable cartridge for the turntable. Buying with a cartridge enables you to make some savings against the normal prices of these items purchased separately.
