The Pro-Ject Phonobox SE (Special Edition) II MM/MC Phono Pre-amplifier is Pro-Ject's step up in both quality and flexibility from the budget Phonobox.
Selectable impedance loading for Moving Coil Cartridges and selectable load resistance for Moving Magnet cartridgesmeans you can optimise performance for particular cartridges and a larger power supply and better quality components bring audible improvements for all types of cartridge. It also has the useful additional feature of a 20Hz subsonic filter (switchable), to help in situations where arm and cartridge matching or feedback are less than optimal, but the ideal solution is impractical.
Build quality is extremely good - the Phonobox SE II is finished with an attractive brushed aluminium fascia

Please note: Phono preamps require an interconnect lead to connect the phono preamp to your amplifier or sound system. This model does not come with such a lead as standard. We will provide a FREE basic interconnect in order that this product will work out of the box, however a cheap interconnect like this will compromise sound quality and we recommend that you purchase a good quality interconnect. See our Interconnects Section for options or see below.
