Proj-ect Debut Mk3 Esprit Turntable
The Pro-Ject Debut MK3 Esprit is an improved version of the standard Project Debut Mk3 - a class winning budget turntable and the best selling deck of the past decade. The Pro-Ject Debut Esprit improves on the standard Pro-Ject Debut model by using a larger 12" precision made acrylic platter rather than the 10" pressed steel platter of the standard Debut. The Esprit brings improvements in terms of resonance control and speed stability and means the felt mat is no longer a requirement. It also has an improved cartridge over the standard Debuts, in that the Esprit sports an Ortofon Alpha cartridge - a derivative of the Ortofon 510II

Build quality is to the usual very high Pro-Ject standard and the stylus can be upgraded by replacing the standard stylus with styli from the Ortofon 500 range. See below for options and potential savings
