Ortofon 2m Red Phono Cartridge The Ortofon 2M phono cartridges is developed together with the Danish designer "MĝllerJensen Design" from Copenhagen, Denmark - the same designer who designed the award winning cartridge MC Jubilee and the Kontrapunkt series.
The inspiration for designing the 2M was related to the facets of the diamond - elegantly concentrating its contours against the grooves on the record surface.
The Ortofon 2M cartridges were the last product of Orotofn's former chief engineer Per Windfield.
