Replacement 12" cast aluminium and vinyl, balanced platter for the Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood, 6, 6.9 and Perspective Turntables. This platter is a cast and balanced aluminium piece with a 4mm layer of vinyl bonded to the playing surface. This precludes the use of a platter mat and provides an excellent mechanical impedance match between the record and the playing surface. This platter can be used as a drop in replacement for Pro-Ject 1, 1.2, 2 and 2.9 Classic models and provides a significant upgrade to their standard platters.
