Description The Gram Amp 2 SE (Special Edition) Phono Preamplifier is superbly transparent. It has no effect on the music's temperature; If the music has warmth you'll feel it, but it will be the composer's intention, not an electronic artefact. The SE has great agility, it's not fat and flabby. It keeps up with the music, presenting the right tempo. It articulates exactly where and when the music dictates. The result is greater dynamics with no grain or self garnished hash. It'll do the deepest bass right through to luscious treble. One thing it's no good at reproducing well - is surface noise. Fat stages produce fat clicks and pops along with their fat sound. The SE isclean and lean.
