The Clearaudio Basic phonostage is compatible with both MM and MC cartridges. Selecting between MC and MM is performed via a single switch. This phono stage has plenty of gain and so is ideal for even the lowest output MC cartridges. The power transformer is housed seperately to ensure that the delicate circuits are not affected in anyway.
