The Evolution Headshell from Ortofon is a replacement headshell designed fo use with any arm that takes a standard SME type fitting (most arms with removable headshells use this standard).  Made from  a single casting in a lightweight alloy, the Evolution headshell weighs in at 7g.  The weight can be adjusted upward by 1g and 2g by using the supplied clip on weights.  The large finger lift makes cueing up a doddle. 

 

It is suitable for all half inch mounting Phono Cartridges but comes supplied with a special tool to aid the fitting of Ortofon's OM range of audiophile and DJ cartridges.
