How To Place An Order

Placing orders with Needles & Spins is easy.  in brief - find the product you want to buy or find out more about.  Once you have decided to purchase a product add it to your shopping basket and then either look for more products or proceed to the checkout.

Finding a product

You can either browse for products in the Product Categories section and the Featured Products Section or you can use our Search facility by typing a keyword into the Search box.  There is also an Advanced search option which will allow you to search by name, product category, and price.

Adding a product to your Shopping Basket

Once you have found a product you would like to buy select "Add to Shopping Basket" and it will be added to your shopping basket.  You can then go and browse or search for other products or you can proceed to the checkout.

Adding a product to your Wish List

Another option available to you, when you have found a product you are looking for is to add it to your wishlist.  The items in your wishlist will be saved for when you return tothe shop later, but only if you have registered as a member of Needles & Spins, otherwise it will only be saved for the duration of this session.  If you are a member you can send your wishlist to your friends and relatives.

Purchasing the Contents of your Shopping Basket

Go to the Shopping Basket and check that the items you wish to purchase are correctly listed in the correct quantity.  Remember that Postage and Packing to all mainland UK destinations is free for all orders over £100 and all prices are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.  If you have a discount coupon, you may now type it into the Coupon/Certificate Code box.

If the products you wish to purchase are correctly listed select the checkout option. 

In order to process your order we need your personal details.  We will not use your personal details without your permission for any purpose other than to process your order (see our Privacy Policy). 

• If you are a member of Needles & Spins and have already logged in you will be taken straight to the shipping details page, which will be pre completed for you. 
  
• If you are a member but haven't yet logged in, you can log in at this point and you will then be taken to the shipping page.
  
• If you are not a member, you can register at this stage and upon successful registration will be taken to the shipping page
  
• Finally if you are not a member and don't want to become a member you can checkout without registering, you will need to complete your billing and shipping details, but should you return to the shop at a later stage you will have to fill these details out again.

You may select alternative shipping addresses from your address book if you wish.  remember that the billing address must be the address associated with your credit/debit card or your order will not be processed.

If you proceed you will get to page where you can choose the shipping method if there are options and choose the method of payment.  We accept payment by Credit/Debit card via either Paypal or Nochex, and we also accept payment by cheque, bankers draft or postal order, though paying this way will mean necessary delays in your shipment.

You will be taken to a screen summarising your order and then  if you jhave chosen to pay by credit card on to the Paypal or Nochex sites to complete your payment.  You will be notified of your order via email and there will be further notifications via email if there are any problems with your order and when your order is shipped.  You may keep track of your order via the Track Order option or from your My Account page.
