The Pro-Ject 2.9 Classic and 2.9 Wood turntable was a mid range Pro-Ject Turntable model incorporating the Pro-Ject 9 Tonearm - it is now discountinued. The 2.9 Classic was finished in PIano Black and had a glass platter and the 2.9 Wood, had a natural wood finish with an alloy and vinyl sandwich platter.
