The Pro-Ject 2 turntable was a model unique to the UK market, not to be confused with the Debut Mk2 - it is now discountinued. The Pro-Ject 2 was a mid ranged turntable featuring a glass and cast alloy sandwich platter, competing at the same price level as the Rega Planar 3.
